"Heissan Annika, Intense exercise is not fertility friendly so I'd say scale down the intensity once you want to get pregnant and from then on.  The risk from heavy lifts and intense efforts goes up and the benefit doesn't so I'd…"

"Hi Helen, Your skin roll is great.  You can stop doing it. I think your diaphragm is tight which impedes your ribs from flaring.  Do the massage daily.  If you don't see improvement in your rib flare within a month or so (doing…"

"Thanks, Kaisa. Most of the time I follow L2 of Dax's ED (though the last week has been bad - chocolate, diary and some wheat!) and I'm pretty good about water consumption.  Fat % is rather higher than I would like, but no real idea on…"

"Great work!  Now the fun begins. :) Since you're not truly postpartum, you can do more hypopresives.  First month still only twice a week but you can start with 10 minutes and work up to 20 minutes by the 2nd week already. "

Choosing what to eat outside of home

Since my new diet has kick-started really well and my due date is in two and a half weeks, it got me thinking something. How can I keep up the diet while outside the walls of my home? And I don't mean just popping outside. Firstly, it feels kind of purposeless to spend two to three days in the hospital after giving birth and not being able to eat the healthiest foods to facilitate the early tissue recovery etc. Secondly, how can you stay on the diet when visiting friends and family for a few…See More

Just done these - not great! : (

Breathing - mainly abdominal but the chest rises a little initially then abdomen then chest completely

Diaphragm tension - tight

Pelvic floor - no issues though voluntary control re urine feels less strong during part of my cycle

Diastais Recti - no problems on contraction but found it very difficult to be sure when relaxed - fingers…

Yay for one finger!

Odd title, I know. Read on, and it will make sense...

I lift my head and bring my ribcage closer to my pelvis. I bring my fingers to my belly and find the ridge that has developed between my abs. How many fingers can I fit in there? Just one! Woohoo! At the beginning of the program, I could fit two whole fingers in there. It's getting better!

Good thing, because I really wasn't looking forward to repeating Phase 1. I just finished Week 6, and now I move on to…

feelings after

It's been almost 9 months since giving birth. I looked at some photos from way back then and that made me realize what a huge difference there is compared to now. And I can only thank the body fix (and breast feeding) for the difference! I weigh less than I did before pregnancy and I feel strong and full of energy.

After the fat loss phase and completing the program I took a little break and then time flew by so quickly and I realized, oops, I better get exercising again, or…

Well crap...

Such is the life of a mom with a newborn. I missed like 5 days of exercises. I was hoping to go ahead and skip forward to the day I'm supposed to be on without going back and doing the days I missed. "It'll be my little secret" I thought. But then I read a part of the program that said not to skip anything.

Well, crap...Now I'm that much more behind. The confusing part is, it's Tuesday, and the last workout I missed was Thursday of Week 4, so all my days are off now. Maybe I'll just… Continue

Starting to feel normal again

Well, I still have a pooch, and I still find myself having to correct my posture, but I'm starting to feel somewhat normal again. I rocked a cute pair of heels today and a pair of pre-pregancy jeans (halfway unzipped, secured with a hair tie with a belly band over it), but I still managed to get it over my thighs and hips which is a good thing!

I also went to my 6-week postpartum appointment with my midwife, and was "cleared" for intercourse and exercise. She told me I do…
